Softball Recap: Christian Heritage Comes Up Short

Christian Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-4 back in August.

Christian Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Southeast Whitfield County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.

Looking ahead, Christian Heritage will square off against Fannin County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southeast Whitfield County, they will take on Cass at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Colonels' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
