Baseball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Valley's offense. They came up short against the South Webster Jeeps on Monday, falling 10-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 18-7. As for South Webster, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley will face off against Northwest at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mohawks have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for South Webster, they will welcome Whiteoak at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
