Baseball Game Preview: Whitewater Wildcats vs. Upson-Lee Knights

The Whitewater Wildcats will head out to square off against the Upson-Lee Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitewater will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Whitewater is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Luella on Thursday as Whitewater made off with an 18-2 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Upson-Lee made easy work of Fayette County on Friday and carried off a 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won six matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Upson-Lee now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Whitewater, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.

Everything went Whitewater's way against Upson-Lee when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Whitewater made off with a 10-0 win. Does Whitewater have another victory up their sleeve, or will Upson-Lee turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
