Basketball Recap: Terra Linda Comes Up Short

Terra Linda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 45-33 to the Urban Blues. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 885th, while the Blues are ranked 384th).

Terra Linda's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Urban, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

Terra Linda and Newark Memorial will round out the year against one another at at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Urban, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Joseph Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
