Basketball Recap: La Jolla Comes Up Short + How To Watch

La Jolla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by the Bishop's Knights 55-23. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-8.

Soila Chadwick and AJ Jacoby certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Chadwick posted 11 points, while Jacoby put up six points and 11 boards. Jacoby is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

La Jolla's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Bishop's, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. La Jolla will host Otay Ranch at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop's, they will face off against San Marcos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. San Marcos has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
