Football Game Preview: Crossland Cavaliers vs. Central Falcons + How To Watch

The Crossland Cavaliers will head out on the road to take on the Central Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Crossland and Gwynn Park meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Cavaliers lost to the Yellowjackets at home by a 21-3 margin.

Even if they lost, Crossland's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Shakur Muhammad, Xavier Holland, and Kevin Richberg, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Meanwhile, Central managed to keep up with Largo until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Falcons were dealt a 62-28 defeat at the hands of the Lions. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost nine in a row.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Crossland, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Crossland was able to grind out a solid win over Central in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, winning 37-28. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Falcons' Deangelo Bryant, who rushed for 69 yards and two scores on only eight carries, and also threw for 118 yards and one touchdown. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Cavaliers still be able to contain Bryant? There's only one way to find out.
