Silver Creek's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Their defense stepped up to hand the Holy Family Tigers a 3-0 shutout. Silver Creek might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by three goals or more this season.

The win (which was Silver Creek's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matchups. As for Holy Family, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6-1 record this season.
