Recap: Halifax Wildcats vs. Williams Valley Vikings
The Halifax Wildcats couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were the victim of a rough 42-19 loss at the hands of Williams Valley on Tuesday. Halifax was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-4.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Lily Crum and
Abigail Groy, who each put up five points.
Madison Dobbin held things down on the boards with 11 rebounds.
Halifax's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Williams Valley, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Schuylkill Haven the next time they take the court. Williams Valley will host Schuylkill Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Halifax will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
