Caney Valley entered their tilt with Skiatook on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Bulldogs.
Mackenzie McCabe was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Anderly Edwards was excellent, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Addie Daniel was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
