Basketball Recap: Conestoga Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Alliance Christian last Tuesday, Conestoga Christian came back down to earth. The Conestoga Christian Cougars were dealt a 56-18 loss at the hands of the Veritas Academy Monarch on Friday. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Monarch recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, Conestoga Christian still got an impressive performance from Reagan Hails, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Conestoga Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Veritas Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conestoga Christian will challenge High Point Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Veritas Academy, they will square off against Octorara Area at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
