Volleyball Recap: Chesapeake Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Chesapeake couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Howard Lions on Friday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since September 30th.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 25-8.

Miranda Ball was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had eight digs and three aces. Courtney Ellison also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Chesapeake's defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-5. As for Howard, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 23-0.

As of now, neither Chesapeake nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
