Soccer Recap: Withrow Comes Up Short

Withrow managed to keep up with West Clermont until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tigers lost 7-1 to Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Withrow of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Baye Babou, who's now up to two this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Withrow and nudges their season record down to 1-3-1. As for West Clermont, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Withrow wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 5-1 win against Aiken on the 17th. As for West Clermont, they have also already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against Kings on the 16th.
