Reyez Ortiz produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hillcrest to the win on Thursday. Ortiz rushed for 165 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (108.2).

Ortiz and Hillcrest will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. Ortiz will face off against Isaac Del Toro, the Lions' star rusher. Will the game be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.
