Soccer Recap: Beaumont Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Beaumont was not quite Redlands East Valley's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Redlands East Valley Wildcats by a score of 1-0. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Beaumont's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8-2. As for Redlands East Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-9-3 record this season.

Beaumont wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Redlands on the 4th. Redlands East Valley has also already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Cajon on the 31st.
