Basketball Recap: Bear Creek Takes a Loss

Bear Creek lost against Edison back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bear Creek Bruins had to suffer through a 54-17 loss at the hands of the Edison Vikings. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ajaila Jordan was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 13 steals for Edison. With that strong performance, Jordan is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Aniyah Wilson, who posted 16 points and four steals.

Bear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Edison, their record is now 9-11.

Bear Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 53-49 loss against Franklin on the 30th. As for Edison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-30 victory against Weston Ranch on the 29th.
