Basketball Recap: Hayward Takes a Loss

Hayward lost against Arroyo back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hayward Farmers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 28-27 to the Arroyo Dons. The Farmers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Hayward's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Arroyo, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hayward will challenge San Lorenzo at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hayward is facing San Lorenzo at the right time seeing as San Lorenzo is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Arroyo, they will face off against Berkeley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
