Softball Recap: Seward Comes Up Short

Seward's last matchup with Beatrice could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Bluejays came up short against the Orangemen, falling 8-0. The Bluejays haven't had much luck with the Orangemen recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Seward's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Beatrice, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Seward didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 victory against Guardian Angels Central Catholic on the 13th. As for Beatrice, they have also already played their next game, a 5-4 win against St. Cecilia on the 13th.
