Softball Recap: Magee Takes a Loss

Magee lost to Raleigh back in March of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans came up short against the Lions, falling 13-1. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Magee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oriuna Hunt, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That hit was Hunt's first of the season.

Magee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Raleigh, their record now sits at 4-9.

Magee will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mendenhall at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Raleigh, they have already played their next contest, a 17-7 win against Taylorsville on the 6th.
