The Raleigh Lions softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Magee Trojans to 1 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.

Next, the Lions meet the Taylorsville Tartars (Taylorsville, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 6. Raleigh will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Tartars enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 13-2 league loss to Resurrection Catholic (Pascagoula, MS).
