In Friday's non-league test, the Mendenhall Tigers (Mendenhall, MS) softball squad overwhelmed the host Magee Trojans (Magee, MS), by a tally of 12-2.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Mount Olive Pirates (Mount Olive, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 28. Mendenhall will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record.
