Castilleja picks up sixth straight win on the road

Recap: Castilleja Gators vs. Mercy Bears
A well-balanced attack led the Castilleja Gators over the Mercy Bears in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Castilleja came out on top against Mercy by a score of 30-18. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Castilleja.
Antonia Vlahos was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Castilleja's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Gallon, who scored four points along with five rebounds.
Castilleja pushed their record up to 9-4 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Mercy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Castilleja will be playing at home against King's Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. King's Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Mercy, they will head out on the road to face off against Design Tech at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday.
