Basketball Game Preview: Penncrest Lions vs. Ridley Raiders

The Penncrest Lions will square off against the Ridley Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Penncrest has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 5.

It was a proper cat-fight when Penncrest duked it out withGarnet Valley on Thursday. Penncrest was outmatched by Garnet Valley and fell 61-17. The match marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ridley). They blew past Interboro, posting a 50-22 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-7. As for Penncrest, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Penncrest strolled past Ridley in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 46-31. Will Penncrest repeat their success, or does Ridley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
