Basketball Recap: Pomona Catholic Comes Up Short

Pomona Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were outmatched by the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors and fell 62-7. The matchup marked the Pacers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Pomona Catholic still got an impressive performance from Olivia Haskins, who posted five points. That was a full 71.4% of Pomona Catholic's points, marking the tenth time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points.

Pomona Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
