Softball Recap: Konawa Victorious

Konawa was handed an eight-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Earlsboro Wildcats 4-3. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win got Konawa back to even at 10-10. As for Earlsboro, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-9.

Konawa didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-5 victory against Bristow on the 20th. As for Earlsboro, they have also already played their next game, a 12-4 win against Maud on the 18th.
