Softball Recap: Lindsay Takes Down Bethel in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Lindsay rose to the challenge on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bethel Wildcats a 6-0 shutout. Considering the Leopards have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Lindsay is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Bethel, they moved to 20-6 with that defeat, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Lindsay has already played their next contest (against Washington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bethel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
