Recap: Antelope Titans vs. Pleasant Valley Vikings
The Antelope Titans were the 65-48 winner over the Pleasant Valley Vikings when they last played one another back in November of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. Antelope took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pleasant Valley on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Antelope can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 458th, while Pleasant Valley is ranked 175th).
It was another big night for Maddux Wilson, who scored 27 points along with 5 rebounds for Pleasant Valley. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Dunn, who scored 9 points along with 8 rebounds.
Antelope's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pleasant Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Antelope will head out on the road to face off against Del Oro at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pleasant Valley, they will be playing at home against North at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
