Football Game Preview: Ely vs. Kelley

Kelley have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They take on Ely at 7:00 PM. Kelley don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

Kelley have had to suffer through a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put a hurting on Hill City/Northland to the tune of 45-6. Kelley were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Ely, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-56 to Cook County.

Kelley took a serious blow against Ely the last time the two teams met, falling 0-38. Can Kelley avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
