West Laurens came into Tuesday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Howard Huskies on Tuesday as West Laurens made off with a 16-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

West Laurens pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Howard, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

West Laurens will have a chance to go back-to-back against Howard: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
