Soccer Recap: Scotts Valley Victorious

Scotts Valley kept a clean sheet against Harbor on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Harbor Pirates. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 back in January.

Scotts Valley's one-goal win came courtesy of Ella Ireland, who's now up to four this season.

The victory got Scotts Valley back to even at 6-6-4. As for Harbor, they dropped their record down to 0-13-1 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scotts Valley will head out to take on Santa Cruz at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Scotts Valley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. Harbor has already played their next game (against San Lorenzo Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
