After three games on the road, Elsinore is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Corona Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Tuesday, Elsinore was the victim of a tough 56-33 loss at the hands of Redlands East Valley. Elsinore has struggled against Redlands East Valley recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
The losing side was boosted by Marisol Diaz, who scored 12 points. She hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Miranda Garcia was another key contributor, scoring five points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 95-15, which was the final score in Corona's tilt against Moreno Valley on Tuesday. Corona was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-7.
Elsinore has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Corona, they bumped their record down to 10-4 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
