There's no place like home for Dunwoody, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Southwest DeKalb Panthers on Monday, sneaking past  5-4. The  win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.
 Alyssa Rosenkoff looked comfortable as she  pitched four innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   three  hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Allie Sleep, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.  Brooke Parkes was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.
The  victory  got Dunwoody back to even at 1-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunwoody will challenge North Springs at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Southwest DeKalb, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Newton  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
