Foothill falls despite big games from Kaliyah Benjamin-Wade and Zeniah Thompson

Recap: Foothill Mustangs vs. Johnson Warriors
After flying high against the Valley Vikings last Wednesday, the Foothill Mustangs came back down to earth. Foothill took a 49-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Johnson. Foothill was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Johnson apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Zeniah Thompson and Kaliyah Benjamin-Wade certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Thompson scored 21 points, while Benjamin-Wade scored 18 points. Benjamin-Wade continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played.
Foothill has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Johnson, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Foothill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Johnson also has no future games currently scheduled.
