Marshall comes up short despite Jeda Taylor's strong performance

Recap: Marshall Barristers vs. Maywood CES Wolfpack
The Marshall Barristers and the Maywood CES Wolfpack squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly the Marshall Barristers had to settle for second. They took a 51-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolfpack. Marshall has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Marshall lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jeda Taylor. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Taylor is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Giselly Gaona, who scored nine points.
Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Maywood CES, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-1.
Marshall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Maywood CES also has no future games currently scheduled.
