Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Troup County). They came out on top against the Central Lions by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. Even though the Tigers got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Nathan Shelton was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Troup County's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-4. As for Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Troup County has already played their next match, a 4-0 loss against Northside on the 4th. As for Central, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Harris County on the 4th.
