Softball Recap: Northwest Whitfield Comes Up Short

Northwest Whitfield made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Adairsville, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bruins fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 9-7 on Thursday. The Bruins haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Northwest Whitfield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Adairsville, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-15.

Looking ahead, Northwest Whitfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Ringgold at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Adairsville, they will venture away from home to take on Sprayberry at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
