Baseball Recap: St. Patrick-St. Vincent Comes Up Short

St. Patrick-St. Vincent managed to slip by Hercules the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins came up short against the Hercules Titans on Saturday, falling 13-3. The loss was the Bruins' first of the season.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mathew Thacker, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Patrick-St. Vincent fell to 2-1. As for Hercules, they moved to 1-3 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, St. Patrick-St. Vincent will venture away from home to square off against De Anza at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hercules, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Salesian College Preparatory at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
