Softball Recap: Tri-Center Comes Up Short

Tri-Center came into this matchup off a tough 11-run loss on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Woodward-Granger Hawks by a score of 7-5 on Saturday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tri-Center's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Woodward-Granger, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Tri-Center and Woodward-Granger will both be playing Fremont-Mills the next time they take the field. The Hawks will host the Knights at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
