Softball Game Preview: Rome Wolves vs. Coosa Eagles + Official Tickets

The Rome Wolves are taking a road trip to take on the Coosa Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Rome and seven for Coosa.

Kennesaw Mountain hit Rome with a four-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolves came up short against the Mustangs, falling 10-2.

Brooklyn Landsdell made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Coosa's offense. They lost 19-0 to Christian Heritage on Tuesday.

Rome's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Coosa, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.

Rome beat Coosa 10-5 when the teams last played back in August. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
