Baseball Game Preview: Paul VI Eagles vs. Seneca Golden Eagles

Paul VI is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Seneca a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Paul VI Eagles will host the Seneca Golden Eagles at 3:45 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Paul VI is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since May 30, 2025 on Saturday. They fell just short of Delsea by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, Seneca didn't have quite enough to beat Princeton on Saturday and fell 4-3.

Seneca saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Bauer, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Paul VI, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Paul VI skirted past Seneca 2-1 when the teams last played back in April. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
