Soccer Recap: Jackson vs. Callaway
Jackson's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Callaway Cavaliers by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Red Devils have lost by just one goal.
Their goal came courtesy of Ian Rowland, who's now up to two this season.
This is the second loss in a row for Jackson and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Callaway, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
Looking ahead, Jackson will be playing in front of their home fans against Pike County at 7:30 p.m. on March 11th. Jackson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season. As for Callaway, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Morgan County on the 6th.
