Soccer Recap: Dodge County Comes Up Short

Dodge County managed to keep up with Valdosta until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Dodge County Indians came up short against the Valdosta Wildcats, falling 4-1. Having soared to a lofty ten goals in the game before, the Indians couldn't push the score so high this time.

Dodge County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Valdosta, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 1-5 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dodge County will challenge Washington County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dodge County is facing Washington County at the right time seeing as Washington County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Valdosta will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Colquitt County at 7:30 p.m. on March 11th.
