Baseball Recap: Trinity Classical Takes a Loss

Trinity Classical fell victim to Lanier Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Lightning. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Lanier Christian Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in February.

Trinity Classical's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Lanier Christian Academy, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Trinity Classical will face off against North Georgia HomeSchool at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tribe have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.94 runs per game on average), something Trinity Classical will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lanier Christian Academy, they will square off against Scholars Guild Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
