Softball Recap: Pomona Takes a Loss

Pomona came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Mountain Range Mustangs, falling 16-6. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Pomona's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Mountain Range, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season.

Pomona will head out on the road to face off against Golden at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Demons have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Mountain Range, they will be playing at home against Loveland at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
