Last Friday, Cabell Midland made easy work of Parkersburg and carried off an 8-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Big Reds: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Riverside suffered their closest loss since April 19, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Lincoln County by a score of 4-2.

Riverside saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tug Eggleton, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

The win got Cabell Midland back to even at 7-7. As for Riverside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.
