Two dominant guards in Janiah Suprius and Becca Witt are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Seminole Ridge Hawks will square off against the Martin County Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Seminole Ridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Olympic Heights, posting a 66-26 win. The Hawks are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 16 straight.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Martin County challenged Dwyer on Thursday. Martin County took their game with ease, bagging a 65-30 victory over Dwyer. The Tigers have beaten the Panthers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.

Seminole Ridge better keep an eye on Karolina Ramirez. She was instrumental in Martin County's win, putting up 26 points. The matchup was Ramirez's third in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Witt, who posted 16 points.

Martin County's win bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Seminole Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 17-1.
