Recap: North Saxons vs. San Pedro Pirates
The North Saxons's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 73-23 victory over San Pedro. The victory was just what North needed coming off of a 75-29 loss in their prior match.
Despite the loss, San Pedro still got an impressive performance from Maia Wooldridge , who scored 15 points. Wooldridge scored a full 65.2% of San Pedro's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
North's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for San Pedro, they have fallen quite a ways from their 24-9 record last season and are now at 2-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North will challenge McClatchy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in McClatchy's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for San Pedro, they will head out on the road to face off against Jordan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jordan is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
