Football Game Preview: Faribault Falcons vs. Kasson-Mantorville Komets

Faribault is 2-8 against Kasson-Mantorville since October of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Falcons are taking a road trip to face off against the Komets at 7:00 p.m. Faribault has given up an average of 44.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Faribault's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Byron on Friday. They were beaten by the Bears 49-0.

Meanwhile, Kasson-Mantorville strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took down Providence Academy/Heritage Christian Academy/Maranatha Christian Academy/West Lutheran 47-30. The Komets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Kasson-Mantorville's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Faribault, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Faribault was taken down by Kasson-Mantorville 35-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2023. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
