Soccer Game Preview: Montgomery vs. Windsor

The Montgomery Vikings will face off against the Windsor Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Montgomery's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Montgomery's last match might've seen two goals scored, but the final result was still a bit underwhelming. They and Maria Carrillo finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Windsor had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Wildcats a 2-0 shutout.

Windsor is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those eight games. With that draw, Montgomery's record moves to 8-5-4.
