Dynamic duo of Macie Steiner and Savannah Hassan lead Sharpsville to victory

Recap: Sharpsville Blue Devils vs. Greenville Trojans
The Sharpsville Blue Devils had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 42-33 win over Greenville on Monday. That looming 42-33 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Sharpsville yet this season.
Leading Sharpsville to victory were Macie Steiner and Savannah Hassan. Steiner scored 13 points, while Hassan scored 16 points. That's the first time this season that Hassan scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Ramsey, who scored six points.
Sharpsville's victory bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Greenville, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sharpsville will be home for the holidays to greet Redbank Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Redbank Valley is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Greenville will be home for the holidays to greet Neshannock at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
