Softball Recap: Bainbridge Comes Up Short

Bainbridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Cook Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bearcats of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2015.

Bainbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cook, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bainbridge will challenge Ware County at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Cook, they will square off against Valdosta at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
